Becky Nioce (pronounced Neo-see) was born in Topeka and has proudly spent her entire life in Shawnee County. She and her husband, Andy have four children and a grandson.

In 1999, she received her Degree in Elementary Education graduating Magna Cum Laude from Washburn University.

While her children were still in their pre-school years, Becky worked by privately tutoring children. In addition, she worked for a period of time teaching at a local Elementary School and then worked as a substitute teacher. In 2013, she was selected to replace Shawnee County Register of Deeds who retired in the middle of her term. Becky hit the ground running as Register of Deeds. During her years in office, she has worked to continually strive to make the office more efficient and technologically advanced. She has streamlined how they process documents and converted 2.8 million images from microfilm into digital images that are available online 24 hours a day.

During her free time, she mostly enjoys spending it with her family. Activities include church events, cookouts, and attending her children's sporting and extracurricular activities.
